Been Awhile as usual lol

Well it has been awhile since I have posted. I have had so much going on. Seems to be alot of conflict everywhere lately. I have been crocheting alot and really enjoying it. I can't seem to get the stuff out in the mail though. I guess that is normal for me though. I plan on posting some pics of what I have been up to for some reason lately I have been hat crazy with crochet. I found this completely adorable pattern and tutorial for a pair of high top booties. I don't have anyone small enough to make them for but I am going to crochet them anyway because they are just too cute. I am also going to try and modify the pattern so maybe I can make them bigger for my grand kids. I just think they are that cute. They look like converse high top sneakers.

I am also thinking about trying knitting again. I haven't done it since I was a young girl but I think I might see what happens there. I have broken out the cross stitch but I wasn't really doing so well at that. Not sure why but I am gonna get some more of that done as well.

Finished Stuff

Well lately I have been a crocheting fool, lol. I have finished a bunch of stuff. Lets see I finished several washcloths, a cradle purse, a large purse for myself,  a soft soap dress for my daughter's apt several headbands and scrunchies. I know I am missing a couple of things but I am at my office where it is kind of slow this morning so I am taking the time to post since I haven't been able to lately.
I have been looking at some of my cross stitch as well. I am thinking it is time to break that back out. I have also decided that I am going to relearn some knitting. I haven't knitted since I was a little girl. I am thinking I want to try to knit some socks. My mother says knitting is easier than crocheting. I guess I will find out, lol. Well guess I should get some work done so will sign off for now. I will be back!!

New Stuff

Well I have been doing alot of crocheting lately. I have a bunch of finished projects. I feel like I am getting alot accomplished. I am also the co president of crochet group here. I am having a great time lately with all this. I have also found a couple of cross stitch projects that I have started and not finished which I am planning on working on as well. I have been teaching myself some new stitches in the crochet area and made a scarf from the crocodile stitch. It turned out great. I will post some pictures later. I feel like I have a renewed interest in all of this. The crafting, the blogging and all. I hope it keeps up because at least right now I am totally psyched with all of it. So lets see what happens. I am going to update this more often because I will have stuff to update it with, woohoo! So lets get going!

okay

Okay so I suck, lol. I just always seem to have so much going on and just don't get anything done on here. I keep making resolutions to do better and I just keep failing. Well here I go trying again we will see. Lately I have been crocheting. I want to learn to knit but I am a little intimidated by that for some reason. My daughter in law does a fantastic job at it she always has something new that she posts on her facebook. I am impressed. Then there is me I am working on a pair of socks and have one half done and have been working on it for a week. Of course I still have Christmas presents that I have not mailed out. I am not sure what is wrong with me that I can't seem to get things done. I do try it just doesn't materialize. Some day maybe. If anyone has any suggestions let me know. LOL I did get a case for lack of a better word made for my IPOD. It is ok nothing spectacular but it is a finished project. Have been looking at my cross stitch stuff as well. I am trying to get organized. Slowly but surely. I pulled out a couple of half finished projects to carry along with me so lets see what happens there. I also discovered a couple of pod casts. Mommy Needs Yarn and Addicted to Yarn. I enjoy them both but have just discovered them so I am way behind everyone else. I am enjoying them though for sure. Well it is getting late and I am on call tomorrow for the rape crisis center so I have to charge my phone cuz I have to put it under my pillow in case I get a call.
